Privacy Policy

MemoFlow (the “App”) — Last updated: 22 April 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information on your device. MemoFlow is a local note app: you do not need an account to use it, and the developer does not receive your notes, attachments, or other content in the way a “cloud” or sign-in product would, unless you later choose to use separate sharing or export flows.

1. Data stored on your device

The App may keep the following in local storage and databases (under your control):

• Text you type, including note bodies, titles, and comments;
• Tags, timestamps, and similar metadata you create;
• Attachments you add (e.g. photos, audio, and other files you select);
• Optional fields you save on a note, such as location, city, or weather text, if you use those features.

Unless you copy or share content yourself, that data stays on the device and is not sent to us by the App for hosting or analytics.

2. Backups

Your content is stored on-device. Android or your OEM may offer backup and restore; that uses your system and, where applicable, your account settings. Those services follow the platform’s terms and policies, not this document alone.

3. Internet and other permissions

Core use is offline. Creating, editing, searching, and saving notes does not require a network for the App to function as a local notebook.

Depending on the build and your actions, the App or system components may also:

• Load content from the network only in limited cases—for example, if a note (such as in Markdown) references an image or link at an https URL and the app loads it for on-screen display. The App is not a general web browser, but loading such assets uses the network for that local rendering.
• Open links in your browser or the app store when you tap actions that start an external app (e.g. product page). The destination service applies its own policies.
• Use the camera, photos, or files when you choose to capture or pick attachments, subject to the permission prompts your Android version uses.

You can review or change app permissions in Settings > Apps > MemoFlow (wording may vary by device).

4. We do not sell your personal data

We do not sell your personal information in connection with this App as a business practice.

5. Third parties

Your device maker, Google (or your OS provider), and your app store handle installation, updates, and related metadata under their own terms. This policy does not govern them.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is a general productivity tool, not a directed children’s service. Parents can control installation and use through device and family settings.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this page. The “Last updated” line will change when we make material edits. If the law in your area requires a different process, that process applies.
